FujiTV announced additional cast members that will join Maeda Atsuko in the new version of Hanazakari no Kimitachi e – Ikemen Paradise, or better known simply as, Hana Kimi.
The two main male leads as well as some of the supporting cast have been revealed.
Aoi Nakamura will be playing the role of Sano Izumi (previously played byShun Oguri). He comments that, “I’m aiming to not just portray Sano as an ikemen by appearance, but also show his hidden passion and strong willpower.”
Shohei Miura will be filling in the shoes of Nakatsu Shūichi. When asked how he feels about playing a role Toma Ikuta has before in the previous version, he notes, “I’m feeling happy and pressured at the same time. I’d like to become as foolish as possible in order to portray the role of Nakatsu to the best of my abilities.”
Other notable characters will be played by Shintaro Yamada (younger brother of Yu Yamada), Shinosuke Mitsushima (younger brother of Hikari Mitsushima), and Ozora Takami.
