It’s been revealed that 25 members of JKT48 have launched their personal Google+ accounts!
To commemorate the launch of these new accounts, AKB48 and JKT48’s joint concert for the ”JAPAN POP CULTURE FESTIVAL” in Jakarta will be streamed Live via AKB48’s official YouTube channel on March 3rd at 7:00 pm JST. Until now, AKB48 has only used YouTube to distribute their performances in Japan.
Additionally, from 6:30 pm, the members of JKT48 will hold a talk session with their fans on Google+ Hangout while watching a digest of the concert.
The members of AKB48 who were 18 years of age and older launched their personal Google+ accounts in December of last year. This allowed fans to add the members into their circles to keep up with the idols in real-time.
Under the “Acceptable Use Policy”, members from ages 13 to 18 also launched their personal accounts earlier this year. As 25 members of JKT48 have joined the social networking site, a total of 217 members of AKB-related groups are now participating in this global project.
