MIYAVI has revealed the details and a short teaser for his upcoming single, “DAY 1“!
“DAY 1″ will be released on July 11th, and is the second part of his collaboration project featuring multiple artists, “SAMURAI SESSION WORLD SERIES“. The single was produced by YUKSEK, who has become a rising star in the French electronic music scene, and will feature MIYAVI’s powerful slap guitar along with a hard beat that fans can look forward to. The coupling track is a new recording of the song “FUTURISTIC LOVE“.
The single comes in CD and CD-EXTRA form. The latter features performance videos of three songs from the “EMI ROCKS 2012” concert in February. The jacket cover design was lead by Seki Kazuaki, who opted for a transparent film with the artist name and song name printed on top. A seemingly transparent CD will also remind fans of the freshness of his Lotte Gum “ZEUS SNOW STORM” commercial.
