L'arc~en~Ciel Tokyo LIVE in London


As part of the celebrations of their 20th anniversary, L'Arc~en~Ciel will be broadcasting their 20th anniversary lives on Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th at Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo in domestic theaters in Japan (40 theaters) and designated theaters in six cities around the world. The broadcast will be aired in Paris, London, New York, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea.

These special lives of two days are designed to reflect on the history of the band. The first day’s performance will mainly focus on the songs released during the time period from their first album DUNE from 1993 to the album HEART from 1998. The second day’s performance will include songs released during the time period from the simultaneously released albums ark andray in 1999 to KISS released in 2007. Tickets for the concert were sold out as soon as the ticketing began. For those supportive fans who couldn’t purchase the tickets or can’t make it to the venues, it has been made possible for this live viewing in designated theaters.

It has been announced that all proceeds from 20th L’Anniversary Live will be donated to provide earthquake relief for the affected areas of the Great East Japan Earthquake. A part of the proceeds of this live viewing project will also be donated to the fundraiser for the victims of the earthquake.
