On March 10th, X JAPAN’s leader YOSHIKI attended a Japan Consulate-General sponsored event, ‘Tohoku Disaster Support Gratitude Event’ in Los Angeles, as their special guest.
At this event, a shocking video of various homes being washed away by the tsunami was displayed on screen. While shedding his tears at this horrific scene, he thanked the world with, “I was touched by various people around the country who were willing to contribute and help the Japanese people.” He added, “[H]owever, we are still in need of more support,” and urged for more aid into those areas.
He also left a message to the victims with, “X JAPAN has a lot of difficulties of our own, but we are moving forward. I hope you do so as well,” and left some encouraging words at this event.
